Scope and content
This series contains the script and parts of the program for The Great Adventure, a play written and produced by Sister Marie Angela Aubert for the 125th Anniversary of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London. The play follows Mother Antoinette, Sister Ursula, Sister Ignatia, and Sister Francis as they travel from Toronto to London by train and arrive at Kent Street House, the first home in London for the Sisters. Pages four to six of the program are present and include a list of actors, acknowledgement to those who assisted with production, a summary of the acts, Sister Thecla’s poem “A Pebble from Le Puy,” Sister Marie Angela Aubert’s “Note From the Editor/Producer,” and the beginning of Sister Diane Drouillard’s “News From Fort Liard” which details her experiences at Fort Liard.
