This correspondence recounts the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Hamilton to Chetwynd, British Columbia from its beginnings in 1976 when Father Jungbluth and Bishop O’Grady requested two Sisters come to Chetwynd, to the departure of the Sisters from Chetwynd in 1983. Details are given of the building of a house for the Sisters, the missionary, educational, and pastoral work they engaged in, and the reasons for their initial engagement and their eventual departure.
