This series contains material from Sister Margaret Ferris’s 1990 trip to Rome, Italy. While there, she acted as a correspondent for the Catholic News Times at the 1990 Synod on the Formation of Priests in Rome. Included here is her press badge and correspondence with the Catholic New Times detailing her credentials and the type of information she needed to record. While there, Sister Margaret met Pope John Paul II and received a rosary, photographs of this and the rosary itself are present here. It also includes photographs of the trip and pamphlets for Saint Francis in Assisi and the Vatican City.
