The Transition Team for the amalgamation of the four separate congregations in Hamilton, London, Peterborough and Pembroke, authored this newsletter. News items concern the process of deciding the name of the new congregation, legal issues, various committees giving updates on their part of the process, and the development of a new website for the amalgamated congregation.
Series contains records pertaining to Mother Julia Moore’s trip to Ireland in 1957-1958 as part of the Ireland project. The project was an endeavor to recruit young women from Ireland to join the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London, Ontario. Records include news clippings, photographs, diaries, itineraries (with hand drawn maps), postcards, correspondence of Sr. DeChantal and Mother Julia Moore, financial statements, and a written account of the trip. Also included is a intermediate certificate examination in French from 1945 and a Northern Ireland driver’s license.
