This series consists of the belongings of Margaret Haskell Brown, a graduate of the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Chatham who nursed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chatham for 42 years. There is a booklet containing the constitution and bylaws, and a nursing pledge. Also found in this series her graduation diploma and obituary.
Margeret Baechler (nee Russell) was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing who worked as the head of the Delivery Room at St. Joseph's Hospital. There is a photocopy of a speech she made, a brief biography of her by Sister Jane Marie, a letter from Sister M. St. Elizabeth relating to the creation of the Margaret Russell Gold Medal Award, and a scrapbook of Margaret's career.
