This subseries contains a short historical summary of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London, Ontario, during their mission at the Highview Community Apartment in London. On August 8, 1987, Sister Frances Walton, Sister Ann Purtill, and Sister Barbara Hughes became members of the Woodfield Co-operative Housing at Highview Avenue East, London, Ontario. They moved into their accommodation on August 19, 1987, and held an open house event for the Sisters of St. Joseph on November 15, 1987. The Sisters became board members of the Woodfield Co-operative Housing and attended monthly general and committee meetings. Sister Frances Walton, Superior, was a member of the Social Committee, Sister Ann Purtill was a member of the Finance Committee, and Sister Barbara Hughes was a member of the Membership Committee. The Sisters also became members of St. Martin’s Parish. In Spring 1989, the ministry at St. Martin’s Parish ended and the Sisters vacated the Highview Community Apartment.
