This subseries contains material concerning the foundations of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada including in Hamilton, Pembroke. Peterborough, Toronto, and St. Vallier. The records include publications, anniversary pamphlets, news articles, event programmes, memorabilia, correspondence, and postcards. This subseries also contains photographs, including from the 100th anniversary celebration in Peterborough.

This series contains a historical summary of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Pembroke, Ontario’s mission work at St. Joseph’s Manor in Campbell’s Bay, Quebec as well as correspondences and newspaper clippings from 1967 to 1982. Topics include, but are not limited to, spirituality, convalescence, funerals, celebrations, children and youth events, building maintenance, housekeeping, internal human resources issues, and day-to-day activities. There is also a short history of St. Joseph’s Manor from 1967 to 1970 with printed pictures of the manor, chapel, and Sisters.

This subseries contains the history of St. Joseph's Convent on Cameron Avenue, Windsor, Ontario. The Sisters arrived to 145 Cameron Avenue in 1930 to teach at Sacred Heart School. In 1937 the street was renumbered and the convent became 369 Cameron Avenue. In 1943 the Sisters began teaching music at the convent. The Sisters moved to a new convent up the street, 377 Cameron Avenue, in 1945. The Sisters decided to close this residence in 1959 and moved to St. Joseph's House of Study on Sandwich Street.
