Subseries contains information on the Mount St. Joseph and Ignatia Hall chaplains and priests in residence, Diocesan and Eucharist correspondence and University Parish Chapel liturgies for services at Mount St. Joseph chapel. There are bulletins, programs, news clippings, and song sheets related to religious ceremonies and events.
Ignatia Hall was the infirmary wing of Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse built as a Centennial Project in 1968; it housed Senior Sisters as well as members of the Generalate and the Novice classrooms. Subseries contains a local history of Ignatia Hall, reports and personnel information, correspondence regarding plans for Ignatia Hall. There are also furniture receipts, furniture donation logs and step-by-step instructions for the blessing of the new altar for Ignatia Hall. Additionally, there is a diary containing “Ignatia History” written by Sr. Marguerite Sullivan, and a residence list of Sisters who were residents of Ignatia Hall (1982-1987), and a Pre-Chapter update 1975-1991 which discusses notable occurrences at Ignatia Hall. Furthermore, there are Ignatia Hall history Chronicles for 1975-1983 and 1996-1999, Ignatia Community Histories 2000-2001, “Ignatia Notes” newsletters 1997-1998, and Operational Reviews from 2000-2004 which are reports and presentations that deal with the history, values and goals of the Sisters in Ignatia Hall.
