    Scope and content

This file contains a scrapbook which was kept in a community room at the Pembroke Motherhouse for Sisters to contribute to. It was intended to document their every-day life. Sister Mary Rice is a frequent contributor. The scrapbook contains journal-like entries, photographs, prayer cards, event posters and pamphlets, news letters, and a "volunteer kit' which includes a rubber band, a dime, a mint, a marble, a binder clip, and a paper star. The scrapbook also includes detailed accounts of Jack "Bird" O'Neill, the Sister Kathleen O'Neil's pet budgie. The material primarily focuses on the Sisters in Pembroke, but having been created after amalgamation also includes details about the Sisters in London, Hamilton, and Peterborough.
