This subseries contains histories of St. Joseph’s Convent in St. Thomas of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London, Ontario, covering the history from 1879 to the 1980s There is a notebook outlining the history from 1928 to 1934 which includes news clippings a about funeral announcements, St. Joseph’s High School Commencement, Reverend William H. McNabb’s departure to China, and the resignation of Monsignor Thomas West as parish priest of Holy Angels’ Church. Also pasted inside the notebook is correspondence from the Roman Catholic Separate School Board regarding teacher transfers and assignments. There are other short stories in this subseries on the Separate Schools in Elgin County. This subseries also contains a brochure for the fiftieth anniversary of the Ordination of the Right Reverend Thomas West in1926, and the opening of the Holy Angels’ Catholic Separate School in 1925. In addition, there is a 1959 photograph of Sisters in St. Thomas. There is also a photograph album with invitations and photographs of St., Joseph’s Convent’s centennial and the staff of St. Joseph’s High School.
