This subseries contains legal documents regarding the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London, Ontario’s mission in northern Perú. There are Power of Attorney documents and registration certification in the Spanish language from 1965 to 1990, from the Consulate General of Perú, National Public Records Office, and Public Notary in Chiclayo, Perú. There are also letters, correspondences, and contracts in the Spanish language regarding the sale and transfer of the Oyotún and Nueva Arica house and property. There is one letter in English from the General Superior Sister Theresa Marie Caillouette to the Bishop of Chiclayo, Monseñor Ignacio Maria Orbegozo de Goicochea, dated June 11, 1993. In addition, there is correspondence from the Perú Embassy in Ottawa, Ontario, from 1965 and 1967, regarding travel to Perú for the Sisters. There are also official tax documents from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Commerce, General Directorate of Contributions, and Legal Entity.
