This series contains records related to Centro Vacacional, a women’s centre in Santa Ana, Zaña of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London, Ontario, during their mission in northern Perú. All documents in this series are in the Spanish language.There are primarily legal documents, notary public certifications of testimonies, statutes, and contracts regarding Centro Vacacional. There are 2 documents to note. One is the Acta de Constitucion de la Asociacion “Centro de Mujeres, Nuestra Senora del Magnificat” (Charter of the Association of the “Women's Center, Our Lady of the Magnificat”) and the other is a document concerning the donation of personal property to the women’s centre. There are motor vehicle sale agreements and transfers and a private purchase and sale contract for an electronic typewriter. In addition, there are inventories of furniture at Centro Vacacional.
